At HMSA, I led the transformation of our vendor contract operations, designing a system-wide overhaul that cut waste, prevented contract expirations, and aligned business, legal, and IT teams.
I designed and implemented a new contract workflow and reporting structure that integrated into our ServiceNow system, addressing over 800 active vendor records that were outdated, miscategorized, or redundant.

The Challenge
HMSA’s vendor contracts were siloed across departments, with no single source of truth. Contracts were expiring without notice, and compliance risk was rising. The process was manual, fragmented, and inconsistent, resulting in the organization incurring both time and financial costs.

💡 Takeaways
